Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is keen on signing for Chelsea this summer, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook.
The Ivorian has less than a year left on his contract with the Eagles and Thomas Tuchel’s side have been made aware that the player would be open to making the switch to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes.
Zaha turns 30 in November so he wouldn’t exactly be a long-term solution but the Blues’ options in attack could soon be weakened significantly.
With Timo Werner poised to join RB Leipzig, Callum Hudson-Odoi expected to leave on loan, and doubts remaining over the future of Hakim Ziyech, it means there is an opening for a player to come in and reinforce the front three.
Chelsea have been struggling to create chances and Zaha (who is reportedly earning £130,000 a week at Palace) could be a cost-effective way of adding goals and assists.
