Caicedo price tag revealed Chelsea have been told how much it could cost to sign Moises Caicedo this month as Graham Potter looks to bolster his midfield. The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since the appointment of his former boss.
Caicedo, who sees his deal at the Amex Stadium expire in 2025, has featured 20 times for the Seagulls this season, directly contributing towards two goals. His impressive displays have attracted the attention of several top sides, including the Blues who are in the market for a midfielder.
With the Blues in desperate need of reinforcements, CBS journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that the club are ‘actively exploring’ a deal which would bring the Ecuador international to Stamford Bridge. The report states that Brighton haven’t received any offers yet will hold out for at least £75million this month – but Chelsea are only prepared to pay £65million.
Dortmund chief gives Moukoko update
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastien Kehl has issued an update on the future of Chelsea target Youssoufa Moukoko. The 18-year- old has been heavily linked with an exit from the Bundesliga outfit as he enters the final six months of his deal. Speaking to German outlet Kicker, as quoted by The Shields Gazette , the Dortmund chief said:
“We have put together a very attractive offer that gives him a lot of room for development. That should lead to a decision. He has to make it with his environment and his advisor. “Youssoufa can now accept this offer and commit to Borussia Dortmund – or we will go our separate ways. I would like him to choose us because he is not yet at the end of his development and I see potential in him. But there are limits for us as a club. And we have shown these limits. Now it’s up to him to confess in a timely manner.”
Noni Madueke has hinted that he could be open to joining Chelsea in the January transfer window. The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this month as Todd Boehly looks to further bolster the Blues’ frontline. It remains to be seen whether the Englishman will complete a move to west London in January but, if his social media activity is to be believed, he seems to be keen. On Instagram, Chelsea fan – @alexgoldberg._ – posted an image of Madueke with a caption which read:
“Listen, I know we lack midfielders and a backup RB badly, but Noni had 7 more chances created today. We gotta make sure his future is with us. I need this demon on the right opposite Mudryk on the left.”
The former Spurs winger ‘liked’ the Chelsea fan’s Instagram post, suggesting that he may agree with what was said in the caption. Though, of course, it must be said that Madueke may have just simply ‘liked’ the picture without seeing the contents of the caption below.
