Christopher Nkunku transfer deadline set as Blues hold key Jude Bellingham boost

Chelsea want to agree a deal for RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku before the upcoming World Cup next month, according to reports from SportBILD . The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, having had a “secret” medical in the summer ahead of a proposed move.

Nkunku is said to have a release clause, but the Blues are looking to beat competition to his signature by agreeing a transfer first, and with the forward set to feature at the tournament, his value could yet skyrocket.

Jude Bellingham boost

Chelsea could hold a potentially key advantage in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to reports. It comes as the youngster is anticipated to be part of a heated transfer battle next summer, with plenty of clubs monitoring a switch.

Thomas Tuchel return

Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is open to the idea of replacing Gareth Southgate as England manager after he was sacked at Stamford Bridge, according to a report.

The current Three Lions boss has been under pressure in recent months after the national team struggled through a Nations League campaign that saw them relegated to League B.
