Full Chelsea squad revealed for Wolves clash as Graham Potter handed Wesley Fofana injury blow

Although Chelsea picked up their first win in the group stage of the Champions League in midweek, Graham Potter suffered a major blow ahead of a busy period of fixtures as summer signing Wesley Fofana suffered a knee injury.

Many first team players are set to return for the clash against Wolves at the weekend, but Fofana is set to miss key matches against Manchester United and Premier League leaders Arsenal early next month.

Fofana was seen leaving Stamford Bridge on crutches, but fears that he could be out for an extended period of time have been eased following the latest reports from France.

N’Golo Kante looks set to miss out on Potter’s first Premier League home game in charge after failing to make the matchday squad against AC Milan in the week, but the likes of Jorginho and Kai Havertz look ready to return to action.

Meanwhile, Marc Cucurella, who could only make the bench against Milan following an illness, could be in line to start on Saturday. The Blues are finding their form at the right time, too. With two wins in consecutive games in all competitions, Potter’s side finally look more threatening in front of goal.

They’ll be looking to make it three wins on the bounce, even without French duo Fofana and Kante. With that all in mind, let’s take a look at the squad available to Potter as he eyes three more Premier League points.

Goalkeepers: Edouard Mendy, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Marcus Bettinelli.

Defenders: Reece James, Ben Chilwell, Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Kalidou Koulibaly, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Cucurella.

Midfielders: Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, Denis Zakaria.

Forwards: Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang.
