The Blues do lack a cutting edge in midfield when Kante isn’t available and his return to action will be a huge boost for manager Graham Potter, who will want to have every player fit so that he can get his team firing on all cylinders as soon as possible. It is important to note that Kante is being eased back into full training so we shall have to wait and see whether Potter believes he is ready for the trip to Selhurst Park.
Palace is never an easy place to go, with Patrick Vieira’s side always making it tough for their opponents, so having Kante fit would be a tremendous help.
