Todd Boehly eyes fresh Barcelona bid as Thomas Tuchel dealt £51m transfer decision

According to The Athletic , Chelsea will sanction another season-long loan deal for the 21-year-old defender. It’s believed that Ampadu is subject to interest from England, Italy, Germany and Spain following his impressive campaign in the Serie A with Venezia last season.

Ampadu, who sees his contract in west London expire in 2024, had been apart of Tuchel’s pre- season preparations this summer and the Wales international looked poised to take-up a role in the first-team squad.

But, despite high hopes among fans and great praise from Tuchel last month, he was omitted from the squad which travelled to Merseyside for the opening day clash against Everton.

If reports are to be believed and Ampadu is set to leave the club on loan – again – before summer window slams shut, then his exit could open a pathway for Chelsea to sign Fofana.Though, it must be said that the Welshman’s versatility would be of great use to Tuchel in the thick of winter fixtures.

Pulisic subject to potential bid

Tuchel is looking to renovate his strike force before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of the month. Timo Werner has already returned to RB Leipzig, meanwhile Hakim Ziyech, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic continue to face increasingly uncertain futures at the club.

And, it’s believed that the latter of whom could be next to leave Stamford Bridge. According to The Athletic , Eddie Howe’s side are considering whether to table a bid for Pulisic , who is valued at £50.7million by CIES Football Observatory.

The report claims that the Magpies have asked top-six Premier League clubs to be informed of any attacking players that are available to be loaned out this season, including Chelsea.

The Athletic add that Conor Gallagher and Hudson- Odoi have been subject to interest from Newcastle, though it could be the United States international on the move.

Aubameyang decision

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is edging closer to penning a deal at Chelsea this summer, with Thomas Tuchel eager to sign the striker before the window slams shut. The 33-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Barcelona amid the Spanish giants’ well-documented financial woes.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues boss is pushing to sign the former Arsenal talisman, who is considered the perfect striker by Tuchel. However, as it stands, Xavi’s side are yet to receive an official proposal yet, though the west Londoners are said to be readying a bid.
